I was interviewed last night by WMUR-TV, the local ABC affiliate, regarding NextStage's research on the Presidential campaigns '08 and what the nation and world can expect from the First Wireless Presidency. The on air segment was based on about an hour's interview between the taping and talking.
Am I handsome or what.
Addendum, 20 Jan 09, 1:13pmET: I just watched the inauguration (as I'm sure many have). When President Obama was signing his first executive orders, upon completion, someone said "Thank you, Mr. President" and I cried.
My grandmother Sadie was so proud that in her life she had known both that heavier-than-air flight was impossible and seen men land on the moon. She often told me that, emphasizing just how much the world had changed in her lifetime.
In my lifetime I have gone from having a man I have considered a brother be banned from a place I worked (it was 1974. I quit) to seeing a man similar to him called "Mr. President".
Typing this, I do not know who has seen more change in their lifetimes, Grandma or me. In both cases, the stars have gotten just a little bit closer.
