So what we did was institute a policy; I can only get my emails once a week. Usually on Mondays. This week I was so busy I didn't even get my emails yet. There's an autoresponder people who email me get. Right now it is
Howdy,
I'm only getting emails on Monday afternoons. My last pickup was 5 May 08, the next will be 12 May 08.
This process makes life simpler for me and (I'm hoping) will allow me to respond faster than normal (like within a week rather than within a year, maybe). The best way to get in touch with me is to call me at 603 577 4575 or Skype:nsejdc if you need something. Definitely call or Skype me if you email me something you need me to respond to quickly.
Thanks,
Joseph
Responses to this have been fascinating. People have called to let me know they sent me something that needs my attention (Many thanks to you!). I promptly let our email guru know there's one that needs to get through and it shows up in my InBox. Quite a few people Skype me just to let me know something (Thanks to you, as well).
Then there's the folks who send email after email asking if I got the last email. Or the folks who call to let me know they sent me about 10-20 emails on something and never heard back. Or the folks who do finally call to let me know how outraged they are that I didn't respond to their email. Or the folks who contact me to...
I truly appreciated the woman who called and asked how I managed to not get emails. Was this something she could do? She loved it.
It's very easy to do. Send me an email and I'll explain it all to you.
