Senator Obama. If you believe you made a mistake when you made some comment about Pennsylvania voters, then say you made a mistake. As soon as you admit to an error you're free to move on from it.
Next, face those who won't let the issue drop and say "If you are willing to tell me and every other American that you will not make a mistake in your presidency, especially so slight a one as misspeaking, then I will drop out of the race and work for your election. But only if you are willing to state that you will make no mistakes.
As I wrote above, I'm endorsing neither, only asking that they start behaving like adults in a vocation where participants often use formality and officialism as a cloak for ego.
(wow, Joseph, you're really coming out there on this, huh?)
President Bill Clinton seems to be non-consciously sabotaging Senator Hillary Clinton's campaign efforts (at least according to NPR's Cokie Roberts. This doesn't surprise me. Some readers may remember NextStage's analysis of a Senator Clinton rally it attended, one line of which was "...Bill Clinton does not believe she will become President (at least not in this election cycle)."
By the way, if you want to know who's going to take Pennsylvania, give us a call.
