Susan and I go for walks as often as possible. Sometimes it's just around the block, sometimes it's a near five mile loop through the next town and back and often its the woods behind our home in Nashua, NH, or on our property in Nova Scotia. I remember as a child, through adolescence and now in adulthood documenting the changes in fauna and flora, that certain species of tree, plant, flower, insect, arachnid, bird and mammals were coming and going. Yes, even as a seven-year old child I was aware the weather was changing in my little corners of the world.
So imagine my joy when I discovered the EuroForest Portal: The EUROFOREST Portal aims to meet demands for better access to state-of-art information on European forests and forestry in an easily accessible and user-friendly form. It represents a web-based entry point into pan-European forest information in the selected topics. The portal contains a metadatabase about information in the internet and news service. Metadata is described in English, but actual URLs may contain information in any language.
Welcome to explore into the world of forest information!
Enjoy!
