Besides, this week has been my first chance at catching up on my reading in months. And by the way, books based on blogs are called blooks, just in case you didn't know.
The author, Bora Zivkovic, is a US based biologist and blogger. He announced his book -- published by LuLu and an interesting statement in itself -- during a 2007 North Carolina conference on scientific blogging, evidently (I wasn't there).
For people curious about the social aspects of the blogosphere, this book and its descendents are a worthwhile study. I wonder who made it into The Open Laboratory: The Best Science Writing on Blogs 2007. There's three more entries, 12 less pages and a US$10 increase in the price tag. The 2006 edition was a good read even if you're not a scientiphile.
Enjoy!
