Google Page Rank Issues. As some of you already know, this week the Google Page Ranks of many of our blogs were suddenly lowered, and as a result the traffic on many blogs was negatively effected. Our network has done nothing different to deserve this, so we immediately got in contact with Google to see what was going on. We believe we now know what the problem is, and we are working to get that fixed with Google. We are confident that this will be resolved, we'll get our Page Ranks reinstated, and this will prove to be only a temporary problem, though traffic may suffer for a time. In the meantime, please be patient and continue writing and publishing your excellent content as always. Go forth with confidence!
I found this fascinating considering my recent presentations at the SNCR Symposium in Boston on the blogging power continuum and the follow up column in IMediaConnection, Bloggers, influence and your brand. One of the things I point out is that the ability to influence people usually requires a Holmes and a Watson (or many). No one can get a message out without people willing to help spread that message. This has been true throughout time and the most recognizable demonstration is the migration of religious dogma throughout humanity.
But think of it...if Google doesn't hear the tree fall in the forest...
