An Invitation to Participate in the 4th Annual New Communications Forum
NextStage: Predictive Intelligence, Persuasion Engineering, Interactive Analytics and Behavioral Metrics Please join us for New Communications Forum 2008

New Communications Forum is the premier conference that brings together thought leaders and decision makers from around the globe to discuss the impact of social media and new communications on media, marketing, journalism, PR and advertising, business, culture and society.

NewComm Forum is not a typical conference and it's definitely not "Blogging 101." The Forum provides an in-depth, hands-on exploration of the future of communications. In its four year history, it has come to be known as one of the world's leading conferences focusing on the latest trends in new emerging media and communications platforms.

New Communications Forum is a focused conference specifically designed to teach communications professionals the strategy and tactics to effectively utilize the power of new media and communications tools and trends. Presenters and instructors will share their in-the-trenches experiences as early adopters of these new tools.

New Communications Forum is produced by the Society for New Communications Research, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) global think tank dedicated to the advanced study of the latest developments in media and communications.

Register by February 15th to save!

Some speaking opportunities are still available. We are still seeking a limited number of sessions for our Journalism & Media, Political & Public Sector Communications, and Media & Entertainment Trends tracks.

In addition we are issuing a call for NewComm Forum Alumni to Participate on a Keynote Panel.

It's no secret. Case studies and real world examples are consistently rated among the most valuable session content by conference attendees.
That's why one of the luncheon keynotes at New Comm Forum in April will be a panel featuring NewComm Forum alumni and their experiences with social media. Would you like to share one of your projects with this year's attendees? We hope so! Large or small projects. Internal communications or external. Nothing is out of scope, as long as you

  • Are using at least one new communications tool or technique
  • Conducted the project within the past 18 months
  • Can relate things that you learned at NewComm Forum to the project
  • Are a NewComm Forum alum who has not previously spoken at NewComm Forum
If this sounds like you, please email the panel moderator Susan Getgood with a brief description of your project and a little information about yourself. It does not have to be a formal speaking proposal; we just want to know a little about you and your project to assemble the panel.

Join us for conversation, insight and action at NewComm Forum '08!

Don't miss out - register today
