
I'm also a strong believer in "My goal is my journey, my path is my prize". Nothing may come from this research (as Einstein said, "If we knew what we were doing we wouldn't call it research.") and by golly I'm learning a lot along the way. Isn't that what it's all about, learning?

I mentioned in Successful Search Engine Writing and Searching for the Perfect Search, part 4 that showing up at the top of a search means much more to me than a chart showing how often a search term is used because searchers see screens such as the above, not the image shown in the Part 4 post.
Some might disagree and I believe what happens in the searcher's mind, the consumer's mind, the visitor's mind is so much more important than what's happening elsewhere, including on the page.
