That's changed. For those of you who don't know, I'll make it official here; I'm taking a two year sabbatical from NextStage. I'm still involved, yes, just not on a daily basis as I was. I was informed in June '07 that there's 1½-3 years of work backlogged, so please stop bringing in new work and please stop developing research projects. In fact, and as Senior Researcher John Sebastian said when an idea was forming in my head, "Eois, tha thu a'cluich d'fidhle". Over time I hope to introduce more NextStagers to you in my posts, columns and presentations.
Meanwhile and to the point of this post, Stephane Hamel has gone freelance. His goals?
- Web analytics services: work with clients to asses their needs for web analytics and help them achieve better results online. This might include introducing the concepts of web analytics, bringing the web analytics culture within the organization, coaching, planning, implementation, analysis, training, etc.
- WASP: now that a "proof of concept" works, I want to extend the features of the Web Analytics Solution Profiler to levels that have never been achieved before.
- Higher education: complete my MBA and likely pursue at the doctorate level
- Teaching and speaking: two activities I truly enjoy doing (tutoring for UBC is one of them and I'm open to other speaking/teaching opportunities)
Way to go, Stephane!
Please contact NextStage for information regarding presentations and trainings on this and other topics.
Upcoming Trainings:
Upcoming Conferences:- DC Emetrics Summit on 14-17 Oct '07
