
I also wrote that I asked several SEO/SEM friends to explain things to me. One, Susan O'Neil, CEO of WebSitePublicity offered me the following wisdom.
"No, do not write for the search engines. However, if you take a moment to think of your first headline as a library classification code and write it accordingly, then the library (search engine) will be able to file your piece appropriately. Then it can be found and enjoyed by all the people who come to the library with a particular interest.
Your sub-headline(s) and, indeed, the rest of your content, can be expressed in any way you desire."
