I'm getting back to some research NextStage started a while back. Now that I have some spare time I'm going back over it and doing some work to complete elements of it (a fancy way of saying I'm being a participant-observer again).
I can't reveal too much of the research or details at present. I can prime you for what we'll be publishing about over the coming months (a tease, I know, but this research is delicious).
What's falling out of the research so far is
- How to get answers to questions in a time-sensitive society (involves lots of factors important to getting work done in person and over the phone, not to mention how to get messages across rapidly in RIA and sound-laced applications)
- How to best communicate performance and price differentiators to a business audience
- How much information is too much information in a given communication
- How to influence Influencers
- How to make "simple" believable
- How advances in desktop technologies are affecting people's health
- ...
