Eye-Tracking Studies: Just Say "No!" (More on Attention, Eye-Tracking, Eye-Focusing, Web Design, eCommerce)
NextStage: Predictive Intelligence, Persuasion Engineering, Interactive Analytics and Behavioral Metrics I mentioned in "Help visitors focus and reap the rewards" now on IMediaConnection (Attention, Eye-Tracking, Eye-Focusing, Web Design, eCommerce) and in the Help visitors focus and reap the rewards article itself that I wasn't through with my comments on eye-tracking studies. To wit, today AllBusiness.com published Eye-Tracking Studies: Just Say "No!".

From all this one might get the impression that I don't think eye-tracking studies are worth much. Let me be clear; I think all studies are worthy. I don't think all studies support what they claim to support. Eye-tracking is interesting, yes. I don't think eye-tracking is any indication of what passes into consciousness or what processes are going on that result in specific behaviors.

That offered, enjoy the read.

Please contact NextStage for information regarding presentations and trainings on this and other topics.
