I announced a while back that I've been selected as a Senior Research Fellow and Advisory Board member to the Society for New Communications Research. It's quite an honor and I'm getting a chance to spend time with some very impressive folks. I've also posted about things the SNCR has in the works a few times. This time I'd like to draw attention to the fact that the SNCR has been awarded a research grant from the Institute for Public Relations and Wieck Media. The research study titled “New Media, New Influencers and Implications for the PR Profession,” will explore the impact of Web 2.0 and social media tools on communications and the public relations profession. We need your participation to make this study a success. Public relations, corporate and marketing communications professionals experienced in the use of social media in their communications initiatives are invited to participate in this research.
Consumers of all media are invited to participate in a complementary survey aimed at consumers of social media
