Yes, still catching up on my readings. This is another entry from Stonewall, actually a follow up to Stonewall's Findings: A New Kind of Community Response Grid. There was a link in the article, Flood, famine and mobile phones, Stonewall sent me that he (and I) think worthy of following, ReliefWeb. I read through the material on that site for a bit. I had a similar reaction to this material as I had upon hearing an NPR story on Darfur and that I documented in The Village: One Minute of Peace.
It is amazing what's going on in the world that we here in d'Etats Unis have no knowledge of. (Duh!)
So here I will bring it to all my readers' attention. Don't feel you can do anything about it? Then do something for yourself and let that energy, that little giving of yourself to yourself, spread. Just one minute of peace is all it takes.
Don't believe me? Clients and friends know I only suggest things I know have worked in the past, and always things I've tested on myself or my business first, kind of that "eating from your own bowl" thing.
