NextStage's staff will tell you I like a good pun. Especially visual puns. Not familiar with visual puns? Go check out Corey Scribner's One Student's "New Math". It's the best I've seen in a long time. You don't need to know any math (and if you think what you see is serious, my apologies) and I hope you get a good chuckle out of it.
Visual puns are what many people know as "sight gags". Like lots of humor, they deal with juxtapositions. Visual puns deal with visual and spatial juxtapositions, the visual unexpected that is both innocuous and meaningless outside of a certain level of knowledge or discipline.
And it really and simply made me laugh.
