This quote is meaningful to me because of the types of requests that come into NextStage. We are the first choice resource for repeat clients (many thanks to you all). Getting companies to work with us the first time, though? We're usually the last place they contact before giving up.
This amuses me. The latter conversations usually start with "Everybody told us this was impossible. Can you figure it out?" and 99% of the time we have a solution on the shelf or have done research that points to a solution. NextStage implements the solution, it's successful, everybody's happy, then a few months later the same company calls us with "We have another thing we're thinking about doing. Care to give us your thoughts/opinions?" and this ends up with regular calls that are "We're going to be doing this and want you involved."
Usually the first time NextStage is contacted it's because everybody has told the calling company that they're crazy. NextStage doesn't follow that rule. If we can't figure out what's really going on -- and sometimes we can't -- we just say, "This one's got us beat. No clue. Sorry. We're not clever enough to figure out what's really going on."
Funny. Often that's enough to get another phone call.
Please contact NextStage for information regarding presentations and trainings on this and other topics.
