
However, on the user boards, more and more people are using under Mac OS10, Linux, Unix, Whatthis and Whosthat, so I have no reason to stay in the Windows world.
The real push is not coming from learning my beloved word processor will work on other platforms. It has more to do with getting emails from people over the past few months all dealing with Vista related woes.
Ex: "We just upgraded to Vista. (Yes, your sympathies would be much appreciated) And so of course our printer will no longer work with the computer."
Ex: "I would have responded sooner but we upgraded to Vista so I've been offline for the past two days."
Ex: "Who the f?ck needs to worry about terrorist attacks when you can just upgrade to Vista? I can organize photographs of my dog, play games, music, but I can't do anything with a number!"
My sympathies to you all. There are days I truly long for my Kaypro...
