I'll start this post with a caveat; I'm a Senior Research Fellow and Advisory Board Member for the SNCR. One of the reasons I got in touch with the SNCR was because of the quality of their content. Case in point, Characteristics of Authentic Online Participants.
Several of the SNCR reads are worthy, this one stood out due to its level of scholarship and thought leadership. The focus of the piece is "What would the characteristics of the participants in this {authentic online communications network} have?"
This is an important question as the 'net continues to evolve. It's a fascinating question to me because of my interest in The Village, my study of what (I think) Ms. Albrycht is describing.
