Another case in point is Stephane Hamel from the Montreal, Quebec City area. Stephane was kind enough to let me reference some blog posts in my Defining Attention on Websites & Blogs column.
My sorrow is that I don't get enough time to read all the excellent material that the web makes available to me. My joy is that I (slowly, I'll admit) recognize individuals I can count on to provide me with thoughtful, insightful, articulate material, material that will make me think, cause me to wonder, cause me to be glad I took a moment to look at their offerings and not make me think "Oh, darn, there's another sixty seconds I won't be able to get back again."
Someday I'll figure out how to link this blog to other blogs (I'm slow, remember? I'm also a luddite and admit it). These two folks and their blogs will be high on my list.

I'll be speaking at the San Francisco April '07 Emetrics Summit on Quantifying and Optimizing the Human Side of Online Marketing on May 7, 2007. Come on by and say hello.

Your comment really flatters me. I can find in the blogging community the same spirit that existed on the Internet when I first touched this medium in 1992: true openness & free and sincere collaboration.
May I humbly invite you and your readers to read something I wrote back in February, entitled "the lonely life of bloggers". I think it really conveys the true essence of blogging.
Maybe we'll have the chance to meet at eMetrics in S-F?
Sincerely,
Stéphane
