I haven't written about CameraGuy since CameraGuy's Findings: Political Candidates Have Invaded the Web And Tamed the Blogs. He recently sent me a link to Welcome to the Blogosphere and it reminded me of something Stonewall sent, Stonewall's Findings: Where does Spam come from?. Both are maps of the virtual world intersecting with the technology and/or real souls that allows that virtual world to exist.
Part of what I do is look at similarities between things. This isn't something that is always useful. For example, looking at the image in the article above my first thought was "Oh, a jellyfish". Then I thought, "That looks a lot like an irregular galaxy." My final thought was that it looked like the nerve network of the brain and eyes.
Well, a network it is. The metaphor of a galaxy can also be applied.
A jellyfish...I'll have to think on that one.
