President Bush's Speeches as Examples of Anthropologic Communications, Part 5
NextStage: Predictive Intelligence, Persuasion Engineering, Interactive Analytics and Behavioral Metrics Here we are in part 5 of describing how NextStage hones its various tools by analyzing things which have already produced outcomes, in this case, various speeches made by the 2nd President Bush over the years. When what really happened matches what our tools predict should have happened, we're happy. When there's a mismatch we go back to the lab.

Part 1 dealt with using our tools to analyze things which have already happened simply to test our tools' accuracy. Part 2 gave a business example of this process, part 3 listed the types of messages we routinely look for when analyzing marketing and other material and part 4 began answering "Why those messages?" We continue that answer here.

Immediately following "We Trust You" comes "You Can Trust Us"small%20Youcantrustus.jpg. Once you've stated you trust someone, the natural response is to have that trust returned. This is part of how people work (even though the issuance of trust is going away rapidly in modern society). It is rare that someone refuses to shake your hand when you offer it to them, regardless of the time you've known each other or the situation involved. Once you've made yourself vulnerable to someone it is part of human nature that that person will make themselves vulnerable in return. The catch, however, is that you must demonstrate that you trust them first, hence the ordering of these two messages.
