NextStage did an good job of predicting political outcomes in the 2004 campaigns. We're still doing research into politics on the web, some of which was picked up by WMUR-TV, the local ABC affiliate. They spelled my name incorrectly but what the heck.
NextStage is also doing research into blogs. This isn't a new field of interest for us. Neither is politics, for that matter, and we've published papers on our blog and wiki research findings which have seen some wide circulation (Thanks!).
We are currently researching how good bloggers communicate and applying that information to determining whether or not a blogger is going to get a large audience or not. Seems like a good overlap for testing, don't you think? Political blogging?
Hmm... Another idea. I can bet NextStage's staff will cringe when they read I've come up with another research project.
Stay tuned...
