She did a search and my name came up in several places as someone with knowledge in helping them find the ideal candidate.
"You folks want me to help in your screening process?"
Well...yes...kind of. It goes like this.
About the time NextStage Evolution helped cofound NextStage Global we were approached by two senior people at the largest job site in the world (think "Frankenstein's ...."). They wanted to know if our TargetTrack tool could help job posters better identify candidates by scanning their resumes for other than obvious data.
We selected six elements which needed to be demonstrated in a resume in order for the resume to get past the obvious screening process. These elements are:
- Ability to Help
- Works Well With Others
- Requires Little Supervision
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Competent
In addition to these six elements other items which we told TargetTrack were important to know were reported. These gentlemen even passed the resumes of people they were interviewing through the modified TargetTrack to see the results. Yes, accurate each time, even to recognizing reasons one individual would be a less than adequate candidate for an advertised position.
No, it never worked out with these two fellows for a variety of reasons. Still, an interesting use of technology and a bit of clarity for why I got headhunted...kind of.
