I have a new column, Coming Soon: The Death of the Web Page up at IMediaConnection that's getting a lot of response. The basic premise is simple; new technologies are going to change the way content is delivered (duh!) and how that content is delivered, measured, and (most importantly!) acted upon by consumers is going to change in ways that will affect the industry.
That's another duh!, I know, but there's more involved than you might think. This "death of the web page" column actually grew out of my Noisy Data thread, which I plan on getting back to this weekend.
I had planned on finishing the Noisy Data arc earlier, but two conversations got me thinking about turning idle thoughts into a useful tool to demonstrate how Noisy Data can turn into rich information and actionable items.
More to follow...(anybody ever get sick of my writing that?) Please contact NextStage for information regarding presentations and trainings on this and other topics.
