I was reading Enterprise 2.0 year in review and...well...uh...I know that part of the blogger's job is to be up on things, at the forefront, all that. That's probably why I write those Nothing New Under the Sun pieces from time to time.
So here comes a notice that blogging and wikiing and various new social tools are officially under the aegis of "Enterprise 2.0". More importantly for those of us out of the know is that a book has been published on the best practices therein. Regular readers know I think the best practice is to spend time Rethinking Your Best Practices.
There's a difference between something being genuinely embraced versus people being told by pundits they should embrace something. I live in NH right now and have been here for a while. Anybody besides me remember that thing which was going to change the world, going to change the rules of society, change transportation and (here's the big hint) was the definitive IT?
