So loyalty is an individual's willingness to tolerate pain and risk.
Site loyalty among women has been increasing exponentially in the past three years. Compare the female loyalty numbers to the female return numbers and you'll see that not only are more women returning to sites, they're also loyal to those sites. This is a good thing for companies that are buying space on sites with lots of female traffic. This is an excellent thing for companies that are selling that space. If those loyalty and return rates continue to grow as they have, you're in a very good place going into 2007 and beyond. What about men? Not only have men been decreasing in their interest in returning to a site, their loyalty is also decreasing. Just as those companies catering to the female market should be smiling, companies catering to the male side of the market are going to be experiencing frowns if they haven't already.
