I was reading Jeremy Pepper's blog entry on the lessons from the Blog Business Summit last night. What caught my eye were his thoughts on blogging as a business function, for who and for what. It especially caught my eye based on what I'd written in The Reluctant Blogger, finale. I, too, was wondering if the blogging community was a self-fulfilling 1% or if we really were reaching the other 99%. Yet, in the short time I've been blogging, I have received email (mostly on my NextStage account) from people reading these musings. I'm also a firm believer in coincidence, kismet, serendipity, whatever you want to call it, which is why I got a chuckle while reading Kathy Sharpe's Bloggers on a Plane column in the Nov 2006 OMMA. I haven't had a chance to thoroughly investigate Ms. Sharpe's blog (and am looking forward to a peruse), but her column certainly echoed many of my thoughts. Must be one of those morphogenetic field things...
